Rembrandt: Lo divino y lo humano
To mark the 350th anniversary of Rembrandt van Rijn’s death, the Museo Internacional del Barroco presented Rembrandt: Lo divino y lo humano. The exhibition architecture created a restrained environment for works on paper, with deep-blue walls, controlled lighting and a deliberately paced viewing sequence.
- Challenge
- Focus attention on intimately scaled works on paper within a substantially larger public space.
- Response
- Deep-blue walls, panels and controlled lighting created moments of pause and gradual revelation.
- Scope
