Exhibition context
The Jamapa Glacier and the Journey of Water
According to INBAL, Tania Ximena’s project emerged from a long-term investigation into the retreat of the Jamapa Glacier on Citlaltépetl. The exhibition followed three stages of the river: its origin in the mountain, its passage through Veracruz and its outlet at Boca del Río, also incorporating sound as a record of a natural landscape in transformation.
Artistic authorship belongs to Tania Ximena. Curator: Michel Blancsubé. Proyecto Museo’s documented scope for this project comprises museum exhibition design, exhibition adaptation, and installation production.
